Titik Hartini

Board of Trustees/Senior Researcher


Titik Hartini joined the Board of Trustees at AKATIGA in 2015 as well as a senior researcher. Titik has consistently worked on issues related to gender, MSMEs, and empowerment programs so that she is trusted to be the program leader for several research projects related to these issues. Currently, she is the team leader for the “Women Voices in the Monitoring and Improvement of Universal Health Care Insurance Services” program at AKATIGA.

In addition to AKATIGA, Titik is also involved in many other programs and organizations, such as being a consultant for Independent Evaluation on Community Empowerment Program and Rural Development for Ate Keleng GBKP Foundation and External Evaluator consultant for Community Empowerment Program for Gender Equality in YAPIDI, North Sumatra. Titik also serves on the Executive Board of the Institute Kapal Perempuan; Board of Executive for the Association for Community Empowerment (ACE); Chairperson of the PESADA Executive Board, Sidikalang, North Sumatra; and member of the Board of Trustees for NTFP EP Indonesia and the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Rural Technology Development in Solo.

Titik has also published various researches, such as Marginalization and Inequality of Women’s Microenterprise Relations and Empowerment Efforts, Gender Mainstreaming and Women’s Empowerment and Women’s Economic Empowerment, Out of Poverty from Jurnal Perempuan and Who is the Economic Agent from Yayasan Jurnal Perempuan.
